2.7 Survey Demographic Information

Survey partners match people to surveys based on demographics. If you choose to take surveys on Earnopolis, we ask you to fill out a short survey profile first. This is optional. You only need it to access surveys, and you can use the rest of Earnopolis, including offers, games, and videos, without it.

The survey profile may include:

  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Postal or ZIP code
  • Household income range
  • Education level
  • Employment status
  • Marital status
  • Household size
  • Number of children
  • Home ownership

We do not ask for special-category information such as race, ethnicity, religion, health, or political views as part of your survey profile. You must be 18 or older to take surveys.

Your survey profile is stored separately, with restricted access, and is encrypted at rest like all data on Earnopolis. Our team cannot browse it, and your answers are not shown back to you or our staff after you submit them.

6.4 Survey Partners

When you take surveys, we share the survey profile details needed to match you with relevant surveys to our survey partners. They use this information to decide which surveys you qualify for, and we share only what is needed for that purpose. Our survey partners are independent companies that handle your information under their own privacy policies and keep their own records as part of running their survey panels. We do not use your survey demographic information for advertising.

We do not sell your personal information.

We retain data for 2 years after account deletion for fraud prevention, legal claims defense, and compliance with offer partner requirements.

Survey Demographic Information

We keep your survey profile only while your account is active. If you close your account, or if it is disabled, we automatically delete the survey demographic information we hold within 30 days. Our survey partners keep their own copies under their own retention policies. If you would like a survey partner to remove your information, please contact that partner directly.

8. Your Rights

8.1 All Users

  • Access: Request a copy of your data
  • Correction: Update inaccurate information through your profile settings
  • Deletion: Delete your account through your profile settings to begin the data deletion process
  • Portability: Export your data

Important: To delete your data, you must delete your account. You cannot request data deletion while keeping your account active. After account deletion, data is retained for the periods specified in Section 7 for fraud prevention and legal compliance before being permanently deleted.

Request Limitations

You may submit up to two (2) access requests per 12-month period. We reserve the right to deny requests that are manifestly unfounded, excessive, or repetitive, or to charge a reasonable fee to cover administrative costs for such requests.
